Chandigarh, March 9 - Chandigarh-based author Hitakshi Sharma has released her second book, Varanasi to Gomukh (Travel Diaries), an inspiring account of travel and self-discovery. The book was released by Professor (Dr.) Renu Vig, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Panjab University, along with Dr. Gaurav Gaur from the Centre for Social Work.
Varanasi to Gomukh is not just a travelogue but a profound reflection on overcoming mental barriers, self-imposed limitations, and the transformative power of exploration. Through her experiences, Sharma highlights the serendipity of travel—how a place can call out to a person at the right time and how unexpected encounters with strangers can open new horizons. The book also touches upon themes of kindness and personal growth.
Encouraging readers to step out of their comfort zones, Varanasi to Gomukh serves as a motivational guide for those hesitant to embark on their long-awaited travel plans. Sharma beautifully conveys the message that the only permission one needs to chase their dreams is their own.
"As an author, I believe that if even one person is positively influenced by my writing, my purpose is fulfilled," said Sharma.
The book is now available for readers seeking inspiration and adventure.
