Amitabh Chandel to Play in ITF World Championship

Panchkula - Amitabh Chandel of Fort Ramgarh will be participating in ITF World Championship, which will be held from April 29 to May 14 in Mexico City. He will be representing country in Men's 55 plus category. He has recently won a silver medal in Helsinki tennis championship held in Finland. He is the first player from Haryana to participate in master world tennis championship.


Amitabh Chandel is a multi-dimensional sports and fitness enthusiast. He holds the fastest man of Asia title bin his age category when he won 100 meters gold in Singapore master Asian games.


He is a gold medalist in SPA power lifting championship organized by Singapore power Alliances, Bronze Medalist in long jump in world master athletics championship held in New Zealand and winner of many national and international fitness tournaments.


Amitabh Chandel now wishes to win at world tennis championship. And if he achieves this then he will be the first Indian to do so. He is sure to accomplish this feat for India and his mentor and elder brother Amar Chandel- who is a world-famous fitness and wellness coach- and has brought him from bed-ridden condition to victory podium.
