International clients laud eKarma students' excellence

Panchkula, A delegation of international clients hailing from USA and Australia paid a visit to the eKarma Center at Government Post Graduate College, Sector 1, Panchkula. The visit aimed to connect with the talented students from Haryana who have been diligently working from their homes, delivering exceptional virtual work. Impressed by the quality and proficiency exhibited by the students, the delegation expressed their satisfaction and enthusiasm for extended collaboration with the eKarma program. The delegation not only interacted with ongoing batches but also pledged to hire candidates from the upcoming batches, highlighting the global recognition and potential of eKarma-trained individuals.

 

The present on the occasion includes College’s principal Yashpal Singh, faculty – Pooja, Dr Rohtas Godara, Centre Manager (eKarma) - Deepti Gupta, Vice President - Appworx IT solutions - Gagan Bhargav and others.

 

 

eKarma, an initiative by the Department of Higher Education, Haryana, offers free training to empower and promote self-employment among Haryana's youth. eKarma program’s mission is to educate unemployed graduates and post-graduates on freelancing platforms like Upwork, Guru, and Freelancer, creating opportunities for freelancing, self-employment, and traditional employment.

 

Haryana Government is currently running eKarma Program in 5 Government Colleges of Haryana covering Panchkula, Hisar, Karnal, Faridabad, and Gurugram. So far, more 5000+ candidates are trained under this scheme and have collectively earned an impressive revenue of more than 3 Crores in just 6 months after their training, proving that eKarma is not just a learning platform; it's a gateway to success and financial independence for Haryana’s youth.
