Chandigarh, February 17 - Haryana Pradesh Youth Congress has suspended Presidents of two Assembly Youth Congress (AYC) Units with immediate effect on the basis of the case registered against them by the police for their alleged involvement in an incidence of firing in a marriage function in village Gadhmirakpur, district Sonipat on February 15, 2013 which resulted in the death of a 13-year-old girl and seriously injured a 17-year-old boy.
While stating this today, State President, Haryana Pradesh Youth Congress (HPYC), Mr. Amit Sihag said those suspended were Sunil Dahiya, President AYC Rai and Devender Sharma, President AYC Sonepat.
Expressing condolence to the families in grief, he further stated that the organisation condemns such heinous acts and would decide on the future action on the two OBs based on complete investigation and legal proceedings.
