Councillor Saurabh Joshi thank PM Modi ji for Rs 1.15 crore grant for city’ first Zero Waste Modern Food Street in Sector 15

Chandigarh - City councillor Saurabh Joshi on Wednesday extended his gratitude and thanked PM Narendra Modi for granting a grant of Rs 1.15 crore, under Chandigarh Smart city mission, for the pilot project of making city’s first ever modern food street, in sector -15.


 “I also extend the tireless efforts of city's Municipal Commissioner and CEO, Chandigarh Smart City Ltd, Anindita Mitra, who brought the vision of this project to the city. The project is funded by Government of India under the National Health Mission. I also compliment the endeavours of Chief Er. and GM Smart city Project, N P Sharma. I request his team to accomplish this work as soon as possible and gift a smart, transformed market to the residents of the sector”, Joshi said.

 


Joshi also thanked SE (B&R) Dharmendra Sharma, XEN Ajay Garg, SDO Akil Dhiman , J.E Manoj and all the other members of the team who would together culminate this project.


While the Commissioner envisioned the project, it was the sheer determination and conviction of Joshi, to convince the officers to implement this dream project in one of the busiest sectors of the city, Sector-15.


Joshi further added, “It is my dream to transform this sector in an ultra modern and the most beautiful sector and this project is the beginning of this dream.”


The enthusiastic gathering applauded and thanked their councillor for being a visionary and doing wonderful work to face lift the sector.
