Chandigarh, Celebrity Cricket League kicked off the 10 season with a spectacular show in Dubai as Burj Khalifa adorned the colours and spirit of league last night in the presence of top stars of Punjab De Sher including team captain - Sonu Sood, Actor Singer and Co-owner Navraj Hans and team owner Puneet Singh. Others who also marked the occasion includes superstars and captains from all other seven teams of CCL, including Kichcha Sudeep, Sohail Khan, Arya and Jiiva, Thaman & Sudheer Babu, Jissu Sengupta, Indrajit Sukumaran and Unni Mukundhan watched it live in Dubai.
The league is scheduled to start on 23 February in Sharjah, continuing for another three weekends in India with 20 action-packed and entertaining matches.
Team owner Puneet Singh said, “CCL has turned out to be an empathic mode of connection and bond between entertainers and their fans. We, at Punjab De Sher, will leave no stone unturned to lift the cup at this edition of CCL.”
Sonu Sood also shared his thoughts on the stunning visual on the Burj Khalifa - “Being alongside superstars representing 8 vibrant film industries of our great nation, standing together in front of the world’s tallest iconic structure watching the launch of something the whole India passionately love to is an amazing experience.”
