Panchkula -Sky School sets the bench mark especially where the traditional and cultural celebrations of festivals is concerned. This termed to be true with its Dussehra celebrations as well on Monday which included ‘Nukkar Natak’, Dandiya and Garba Raas religious hymns, motivational speech by the Director Santosh Bhandari, pledge taking ceremony and last but not the least burning of Ravana’s effigy that depicts the victory of Goddess Durga i.e. good over evil i.e. the demon Mahishasura.

The students’ elicited the message of clean, Green and Plastic free India through Nukkar Natak: students of senior classes performed Garba and dandiya and recited religious hymns. The director prompted the children to overcome the distractions and conquer the prevailing emotional evils with cleanliness, politeness, consciousness and positive thinking. She made everyone take pledge for the same. The effigy of Ravana was put to fire by the outgoing batch of class 10 with a motive to burn the indolence and embrace good will and perseverance in learning
